Workshop Sponsorship Information: If you would like to sponsor a workshop in your area, please see the information below. This is a grassroots movement, and our sponsors are a crucial part of this movement. While Earth Transitions is worldwide in its impact, the home office is a small base, run through a combination of website sales, private donations, and workshop fees. Even with all three sources of funding, it is operating as a defacto non-profit organization. As such, we do not have the ability to compete with traditional workshop leaders such as Hay House, or Chopra, or The Secret, or Gregg Braden. They can go into an area "cold" and through the strength of their public appearances and advertising generate large workshop sizes. This is great on one level. It means that the work which used to be esoteric has now become more mainstream. It also means that those who used to have their niche in the esoteric aspects of energy work, are drowned out by the vast amount of choices which face the average person looking for a workshop to attend. If you have come to this page, you clearly are not one of those people. However, you will need to know that being a sponsor means more than just putting an ad or article in your local new age magazine. It means you need to have a network, or join forces with someone who does. Personal word of mouth is still the most effective way to promote this work. Once you have decided upon which workshop you would like to help sponsor, then communicate with our office to set a tentative date. I say tentative, because I cannot set a firm date without deposits in hand, either from the sponsor, or from the people who you have contacted who have said they have an interest in this work coming to their area. Your responsibilities are quite extensive, beyond just getting the word out and ensuring sufficient enrollment. As such, you are well advised to join with another person and share those responsibilities. Both of you will be allowed to attend the workshop free of charge and depending upon the numbers in the course, will also receive a % of the proceeds. All of this is determined once you have selected a workshop and we have agreed upon a tentative date. The Sponsor/Coordinator will be responsible for:

Sponsor Compensation: This is NOT something that you should be considering as a source of financial income. While you may receive some money for your efforts, if you look at it, I'm sure you will find that it is barely more than $10/hour as organizing the course is a time consuming event and takes place over several months time. So, this should not be considered if you do not have another source of income to support you as the fees generated from the course are not sufficient for that purpose. They are more of a "thank you" for all of your effort, which we know is considerable, and more of a labor of love than an "income." You will receive the following as a sponsor:
As you can see our sponsor is our main agent in manifesting a workshop in the area. I mention this as many people have an enthusiasm for this work and wish to be a part of its expansion; however are under the impression that Earth Transitions is in a position to organize, promote and sponsore the events brought to their town or area. We are not. It is an "if you build it, they will come" basis.
